Our son has suffered from seasonal allergies since he was 4 years old. We have tried a myriad of treatments ranging from traditional medicine (primary care physician & a specialized allergist) to alternative treatment (NAET, homeopathic medicine, a consult with a compound pharmacist, and even a local acupuncturist). For the past 4 years our son has not had any reprieve from his allergy symptoms including allergy shots. We were extremely doubtful when we met Dr. Chi. "Here we go again...More money". Honestly, after one session our 8 year old son was completely free of symptoms. I thought this was "too good to be true" because of our long treatment history. I originally came to Dr. Chi for treatment of my allergies and asthma.
I had been getting 2 allergy shots per week for 3 years and taking Zyrtec and Singulair as well.
After only 2 treatments I no longer needed my weekly allergy shots. After 4 treatments I was able
to stop the Zyrtec and Singulair. I have truly enjoyed being off all my allergy and asthma medicine.
Since this treatment was so successful, I asked Dr. Chi about treating my neek pain. I was in an auto accident

Back pain and shoulder pain
I came to see Dr. Chi as an alternative treatment before seen a neurosurgeon. For the last 3 years, I sufffered from lower back pain and the sciatic nurve on my left leg. I have 3 compressed disc and the C-5 pressing on my sciatic. I had received 3 epidurals trying to aliviate the pain. With Dr. Chi, from the first treatment, I felt a great improvement. 16 months after a shoulder replacement i was suddenly in excretiating pain and spent 3 days in hospital. No cause for my pain could be found. The severe pain disapated with time, but I was left with a frequent dull throbbing pain. Cortisone injections gave me temporary relief for maybe 2 weeks. I started acupunture in Feb. 08 and was pain free by April 08. The results were slow coming because of my history of steroids use for servere asthma. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
As a very healthy and active 62 year old, I found myself stopped in my tracks with Capal Tunnel syndrome. As a nurse, I knew that I had to choose between Western Medical techniques, i.e., Cortisone injections & possible Surgery or less invasive Eastern technique. Because of the side effects of drugs & Surgery, I chose Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs. Within three days of the first treatment, I began to feel relief from the neck & shoulder pain. After two treatments, my Chi levels were near normal, the Carpal Tunnel symptoms were almost completely abated & for the first time in years, I was sleeping through the night due to the side benefits of accupuncture & herbs.
I found the Wellness Village at Starling and Dr. Chi to be most receptive and warm. My care was immediate, relaxing and patient-friendly.
The only regreat that I have is that I let the symtons of Carpal Tunnel continue to worsen over the 2 1/2 weeks that I did not choose treatment with Dr. Chi sooner.

Fibromyalgia
I have suffered Chronic Fatigue and pain for over 17 years. I feel my muscles have
been pulled or overworked, sometimes the muscles twitch or burn. Disturbed sleep, Depression, Daytime tiredness,

Muscle Atrophy
For the past one year, I have been experiencing severe pain and weakness in my right leg.

Pain Relief
(Stenosis & Abdominal) Prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Chi, I had numerous bone spurs and stenosis in V4, V5, V6 and had been turned down from long term health care. My neurologist's only solution (after 1 year of physical pain therapy and medication) was surgery. Today (8 months later) I have been pain free on my neck, back and no longer have any detection of bone spurs.
The abdominal pain was resolved by a helping surgery procedure. After such surgery (3 days later) the burning and bruising in the surrounding area was rated severe and the surgeon's nurse told me it would get worse before it got better. I saw Dr. Chi the next day and as she told me, the bruising was gone in 2 days (less than 48 hours) and no more burning. Her gentle approach to getting to know her patients and to provide effective individual treatment is no less than astonishing.

Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain)
I had been suffering with heel pain for many years. This condition limited my walking,
and jogging, and at times was so painful, I limped when I walked. I had been to a Podiatrist, and was prescribed
anti-inflammatory medication and Physical therapy. The entire implement look like only has very little affect, and
I have been growing concern as to the side effects and longer-term repercussions of taking these medications as well.
After one course acupuncture treatment I have had very effective relief from heel pain. She has made it easier for me

(Stroke recovery) I have been seeing Dr. chi for over four months. I feel so much better with the acupuncture treatments & Chinese herbs. Before the treatment, I was extremely tired & weak. Skin Disease (Psoriasis)
I have battled psoriasis for over 20 years. I turned to acupuncture after my dermatologist suggested steroid injections. The injections would have forced me to discontinue breast feeding my infant.
