I originally came to Dr. Chi for treatment of my allergies and asthma. I had been getting 2 allergy shots per week for 3 years and taking Zyrtec and Singulair as well. After only 2 treatments I no longer needed my weekly allergy shots. After 4 treatments I was able to stop the Zyrtec and Singulair. I have truly enjoyed being off all my allergy and asthma medicine. Since this treatment was so successful, I asked Dr. Chi about treating my neek pain. I was in an auto accident 18 years ago and have had neck pain on and off since then. Dr. Chi treated my pain only 2 times and it was gone. I am very happy with the results.

Back pain and shoulder pain

I came to see Dr. Chi as an alternative treatment before seen a neurosurgeon. For the last 3 years, I sufffered from lower back pain and the sciatic nurve on my left leg. I have 3 compressed disc and the C-5 pressing on my sciatic. I had received 3 epidurals trying to aliviate the pain. With Dr. Chi, from the first treatment, I felt a great improvement. 16 months after a shoulder replacement i was suddenly in excretiating pain and spent 3 days in hospital. No cause for my pain could be found. The severe pain disapated with time, but I was left with a frequent dull throbbing pain. Cortisone injections gave me temporary relief for maybe 2 weeks. I started acupunture in Feb. 08 and was pain free by April 08. The results were slow coming because of my history of steroids use for servere asthma. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

As a very healthy and active 62 year old, I found myself stopped in my tracks with Capal Tunnel syndrome. As a nurse, I knew that I had to choose between Western Medical techniques, i.e., Cortisone injections & possible Surgery or less invasive Eastern technique. Because of the side effects of drugs & Surgery, I chose Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs. Within three days of the first treatment, I began to feel relief from the neck & shoulder pain. After two treatments, my Chi levels were near normal, the Carpal Tunnel symptoms were almost completely abated & for the first time in years, I was sleeping through the night due to the side benefits of accupuncture & herbs.

Fibromyalgia

I have suffered Chronic Fatigue and pain for over 17 years. I feel my muscles have been pulled or overworked, sometimes the muscles twitch or burn. I developed a severe headache that progressed down into my back. After seeing Dr. Chi just one visit, they were both better. I also combined accupucture with message therapy at the wellness center. Then soon after that I developed cold symtoms with laryngitis and dry cough that sent me into coughing spells where even cough syrup with codeine would not relieve. By the time I saw Dr. Chi again (I had been on vacation), I was taking a steroid inhaler and still no better with the horrible coughing spells. Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain)

I had been suffering with heel pain for many years. This condition limited my walking, and jogging, and at times was so painful, I limped when I walked. I had been to a Podiatrist, and was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and Physical therapy. The entire implement look like only has very little affect, and I have been growing concern as to the side effects and longer-term repercussions of taking these medications as well. After one course acupuncture treatment I have had very effective relief from heel pain. She has made it easier for me to be comfortable and do things that couldn't when I was in pain.
