New clinical study findings are showing that “acupuncture is effective for regenerating brain tissue and restoring motor and cognitive function after a severe head trauma.” Compared to a control group in the study, acupuncture therapy added to conventional treatment methods significantly lessened complications and improved survival rate as well as better mobility and cognition.
